VIP Program

We want to welcome the VIP (Very Important Player) program to Region 126. This is only the second program of it's kind in the state of Utah and offers players of varying age and physical/mental disabilities the opportunity to play the wonderful game of soccer. We are ecstatic with the response we have had thus far from our players, parents, and volunteers. We are so excited for the season to start! Be on the look out for our VIP players in their striped shirts, and make a point to come out and cheer them on sometime this season! We are looking for volunteers to act as "buddies" for our players. Soccer experience is not required, and volunteers can be ages 10 and up. If interested, please contact Katie Dahle, Region VIP Coordinator, at
AYSO's VIP Program provides a quality soccer experience for children - and adults - whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams.

VIP teams may include those who are:

  • Blind or visually impaired
  • Amputees or conditions that impair mobility
  • Mentally or emotionally challenged
  • Autistic
  • Down Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy

These kids are Very Important Players (VIP) in AYSO. We recognize that all children need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. The VIP program offers that acceptance and carries our philosophy of Everyone Plays® to new heights - giving everyone a chance to play.
